Who is the most overrated Nascar Sprint Cup driver today?
IMO:
1. Dale Earnhardt Jr.-Until he wins more championships than his daddy, he'll just be another driver with a famous last name (Can you say Kyle Petty???)
2. Jamie McMurray-He is making Jack Roush look like an idiot
3. Casey Mears-He is making Richard Childress look like an idiot
4. Ryan Newman-He is making Tony Stewart look like an idiot
5. Jeff Burton-He needs to be RUNNING Nascar, not DRIVING in it
1. Far & away it's Junior - he may be the most popular driver but he's far from the cream of the crop on the track. Unfortunately, he's bought into all of the hype the media & fans have showered on him - he's good but he ain't Daddy & never will be.
2. Reed Sorenson is right up there - the only thing I can count on is that he'll qualify so-so & slip to the back of the field in darn near every race. Seems that it was not the Ganassi team that was holding him back after all.
3. Casey Mears may be another case of riding on a family name - Uncle Rick was one helluva an Indy driver but Casey hasn't exactly lit NASCAR on fire in spite of being with several good teams.
