The Endless Sadness Of Loneliness: How To Break Down This Circle? (Part 3/3)
Solitude is also required after an emotional shock such as bereavement, heartbreak, separation or a personal failure. The family, friends or even professional help are there, available and necessary when one of those situations occurs. But in the end, it is not them who will have the last word to heal (almost definitely) and emerge stronger from this intense emotional state. This success only depends on you.
To achieve this, the loneliness is there waiting for us patiently. At the very beginning, we do not want to see, we flee by any means, because it scares, loneliness! But inevitably, it will be there to accompany us in our thinking to overcome this obstacle (which is actually a new experience not resolved in our lifetime).
Loneliness has really two faces: one a little sad and the other a little more cheerful. Thus, loneliness can have its good sides, but the fact remains that solitude means isolation. What good is having an excellent meal at home (or at restaurant) if you cannot have the pleasure to share or to discover with another person a new flavor. Why bother going to see the best play of all time if we are not able to share his joy and happiness with another.
What's more satisfying and rewarding for ourselves than to share: his joy, his happiness, his laughter, his tears, his ideas, dinner, a play, music, space, privacy,... Everything is there in the sharing.
Thus, the other person is as important (even more) than our own person. The other is absolutely necessary for our full personal development, our balance, our health, our happiness in our life.
But to seek the other person, this second half is not easy: it is difficult, sometimes. There are failures, there are waiting periods, there are people who leave without really quit but there are also many successes.
And when there is success, one of the largest and intense satisfaction is summarized in this song by Charles Aznavour, "Stay" (Reste) ...
