Fans Prefer Hugh Jackman as Wolverine Better than in any other Role
Hugh technically began his acting career with a role in My Fair Lady, at his school. A slew of roles in musicales and theatre marked his steady progress from the stage to the silver screens of Hollywood. With a pivotal role in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, Hugh has fixed for himself a permanent place in the annals of Hollywood history.
As he finishes imprinting his hands at the Grauman Chinese Theatre on April 21, 2009, Jackman states, "Let's face it, I would not be here if it weren't for Wolverine." For an actor to mesh with a particular role so intimately greatly reflects on his professionalism and familiarity with the role. From what can be observed form the trailers, Jackman's affinity with Wolverine's character is starkly obvious.
Whenever he flicks out his adamantine claws and bares his teeth to battle with his half-brother and nemesis Sabretooth, viewers get a glimpse of the barely controlled rage that permeates the fictional character and seeps onto the screen. It is all there as is the confusion over a life that takes twists and turns at odd moments, throwing Wolverine into a pit of perpetual angst.
It stands to reason that Jackman's portrayal of Wolverine in X-Men Origins: Wolverine has him so firmly entrenched in his fan's minds that he is rarely appreciated in any other role. Take the magnum opus Australia for instance. A landmark role and film for Hugh's largely musicale leanings, the period film starring Jackman and Nicole Kidman grossed $50 million in earnings.
The X-Men franchise on the other hand, have been the highest grossing film series in Hugh Jackman's career with rakings of over $1.2 billion worldwide. X-Men movie buffs can go as far as to say that the movies about mankind's favorite 'mutants' are incomplete without the growling presence of Wolverine.
X-Men Origins: Wolverine releases worldwide this summer to great anticipation from X-Men fans and Wolverine aficionados. The fourth installment in the X-Men movie franchise, the Wolverine film is to have a Middle East release on April 30, a day ahead of the US release.
Bookings for the Hugh Jackman directed X-Men Origins: Wolverine have already opened in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, UAE, Jordan and Lebanon, where the movie is releasing.

The fourth X-men movie, X-Men Origins: Wolverine will release in Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman, UAE, Jordan and Lebanon in the Middle East on April 30, 2009. The movie is essentially a prequel to the earlier released movies and focuses on tracing the life of the mysterious Logan aka Wolverine, before he lost all his memories. The adrenaline-charged film will be playing at all major movie theaters in the countries mentioned above in the Middle East.
