How does Jeff Gordon & Jimmie Johnson feel about not being #1 anymore at HMS?
Ever since Dale Jr. moved in, they have been pushed to the bottom of the barrel. He comes in as the most popular driver and takes over the #1 spot from two guys that are champions.
I think they have been around enough to not worry about the kind of things that we do. There is still a long way to go this season and I suspect that all 3 will make the chase. The only standings that really matter are the ones that come after the race at Homestead. It's not like they aren't getting good equipment and haven't had their chances to win a couple more than they have. We will see how they react to the pressure but I suspect they will be fine in the end. Just because Jr is currently ahead of them in the standings doesn't mean that he has surpassed a 4 Time Champion and the back to back champion in the pecking order.
