anyone think bobby labonte deserves a better full-time ride?
i always liked him growing up. it seems like he wants to race;but he's rotting away at a one car team with minor sporship. he really hasn't raced bad.
on a side note; to see hime back in a interstate batteries car with any numbers would be nice to see.
If only the Ganassi deal came together in 2008 or 2009. Then he'd have McMurray's ride right now, and probably be putting up very similar numbers. That would have been something to see. TRG is my favourite single Car Nascar team (3rd overall behind EGR and Penske), and I know they have what it takes to front-run in the right situations. Last year, they had a great crew chief, this year, not so much... He absolutely deserves a better ride, so do a lot of the unfortunate start-and-parkers, but the reality is its going to be tough for someone like Dave Blaney, Johnny Sauter, Mike Bliss, or Bobby Labonte to get in anything near competitive.
