Richard Childress Racing, and Casey Mears?
RCR racing has been doing so good lately, just look at the finishes, where do you think Mears will end up in 2010? RC said he has been meeting with sponsors and such and he said he would have liked to have seen Mears in one of his cars last year when they had all 3 cars in the chase. If RC can find a sponsor, what number would Mears be? he cant be in the 07 because thats jack daniels number. another good finish by mears and he now has an average finish of like 14th or something in the chase. I believe thats the highest of a non chaser.

Since Jack Daniel's won't be sponsoring a car next year, wouldn't the 07 be open to a different sponsor? Jack Daniel's doesn't have (for lack of a better phrase) a copywrite on the # of the car....... As far as a sponsorship, it's up the RCR to secure one for the 07 car. If they don't, Casey is going to be looking for a job. That would be to bad because he handles himself pretty well. Thoughtful question! I hope Childress has something up his sleeve for Casey!
