Waltrip/Napa buying their way into the 600?
What did you think of Napa and Michael Waltrip taking over Tony Raines' ride and turning it into the 55 Napa when Mikey didn't qualify? Is this fair?

he didn't buy Tony Raines' rdie, he got Cope's. he said last night (mon) on inside nextel cup on speed that Cope's team presented the idea to mikey. by selling their entry Cope's team made more money than if they ran the 10 laps the usually do. Mikey mentioned something about contract obligations with NAPA for being in the race.
all together i don't think it is a good idea to let guys sell their entry but like ken schrader said what a guy decides to do with his qualifing spot is up to him. i really think you should qualify in your car and race your car not fail at qualifing and then buy someone elses. it may be legal by NASCAR rules, but i am not sure it is very sportsman like.
