With this idea in mind, high-end jewelry designer Kimberly McDonald is proud to announce the launch of her men’s jewelry collection, which debuted last month at Bergdorf Goodman Men’s.
McDonald’s aesthetic comes from a deep appreciation for Mother Earth’s natural elements, and her pieces use only the best in natural and untreated fine materials. Her love of all things nature combined with her ideology of individuality has given McDonald the ability to create pieces that are reflective of her own passion yet still unique to every man’s personal style. The 30-piece line will feature natural and organic materials such as agates and geodes and will comprise of cufflinks, beaded charm bracelets, lapel pins, tie bars and necklaces. It will convey the same earthy freshness found in the signature Kimberly McDonald collection and will be a great addition to any outfit this holiday season.
“I felt it was a natural evolution to bring my collection to the world of men’s accessories. The raw, earthy material and cool spiritual vibe will appeal to the well-dressed, the rocker, the surfer, the hipster and even the conservative with a streak of rebel,” says Kimberly McDonald. “Geodes are natural rock formations that have a hollow center with quartz crystals inside. Quartz is a wonderful conductor of energy and promotes clarity in every area of life. These little stones are true gem stones…and since we get the very best quality, our geodes are full of life, color and interesting nuances that make each piece completely one-of-a-kind!”
McDonald’s men’s collection has already garnered celebrity fans such as Tom Cruise, Elton John and NASCAR driver Tim George. One of her pieces was also recently seen on Brad Goreski, one of the stars of Bravo’s hit reality television show The Rachel Zoe Project. As a native of North Carolina, McDonald has infused her appreciation of natural elements with the hard edge of New York City to recreate classic pieces, like her new signature cufflinks, in an entirely Rock ‘N Roll way. It can easily be said this is the new bling for the modern-day man.
