Dale Junior is he better than RICHARD PETTY?
I hear about him all the time I want to start to watch Nascar more and he seems to be the number 1 man to beat from what I hear. Is he has good as Richard P?
What a lame answer by a top contributor. With more wins than Kyle and 2 thats TWO! Nationwide championships to boast about I think Jr is as of now more of a winner than Kyle. Sorry Kyle, no offense, your younger and have not been around long enough. Just fact bro!
As for the question.... Two differant eras, two differant drivers. I love "The King" he was my first driver when I was very young. Today it is Jr with Bill Elliott in between. The cars Richard drove and the competition was differant from Bill's reign and way differant than these things they call "stock Cars?" of today. So this comparison can never be made in reality....
Welcome to the world of NASCAR. Jr is good and many people seem to forget his dad didn't really hit it big until about the age Jr is now. But they don't know history that much. Might I suggest you just watch the races, listen to the interviews and read up on the history and read the drivers bio and make you personal choice as to who you will pull for. RP, BE, and JR all have something in common and that it why I pull for Jr. Common sense, humility and fan loyalty and appreciation are only a few of all three of their qualities.
