Nascar Nation---What ever happened to the Richard Petty movie?
I had heard that Walt Disney was working on a movie covering Richard Petty's life. They had reportedly hired Randy Quaid to be Richard???
This has been a few years since I last heard anything of it.
So my question is----have you heard of the movie??? Do you know if it has been scrapped or still in the works???
Hey a successful Disney movie could put some money in the ol #43 for next year don't ya think???? Just curious.
It has been scrapped, for now. There are two from the past: The Petty Story (1974) and another one called Richard Petty and STP - The Ride of a Lifetime (1991)
