When is Texaco / Havoline's contract up with Ganassi? (NASCAR RELATED)?
After noticing that Yates Racing is bringing the #28 back because of the #88 going to DE Jr., I'm trying to find out when the Texaco / Havoline contract expires. I think that this year is the final year of the contract but I'm not sure.
If this is the case I would love to see Texaco go back to Yates and have the Star back on the #28 for next year.
I believe that it is up at the end of 2008 or 2009. While I am an old school Nascar fan myself and would like to see the Texaco Star on the Yates #28 again I dont think it will happen. Unfortunately Yates is in trouble and cannot find a Big Name Sponsor for 2008 and Daytona is less than a Month away!!!!!
