What do you think of the #3 being back in NASCAR full-time?
Austin Dillon will race it full-time in the Camping World Truck Series this year using the #3 for RCR. Are you OK with that? And do you think it should be brought back into the Cup Series eventually? If yes, when?
This is a touchy subject with me....if Childress wants to bring the #3 back, that's fine, but don't change the paint scheme. I think starting in the truck series is the right idea. It's going to stir up a lot of emotions with the fans and open a lot of wounds. It definitely would be better if someone with the Earnhardt name or bloodline were driving it. As to bringing it back into the Cup Series....it's a little early to go that far with it. I understand how some can say it's only a number or try and compare it other drivers who have been killed but there was something about Senior. He made that #3 what it is today and always will be. I was and still am a huge Senior fan so I look at this differently than most but I think seeing that number back on the track is ok, just not in the Cup Series just yet.
